About the company : d106

d106 interiors store (1998)

d106 started as a design office in Leça da Palmeira in Ed. Zarco in office 106. The name comes from Design no 106. The team of Cristina Varela and Rui Sanches, both trained in industrial design (interior and furniture specialty) began their activities as designers of stores, stands and interior decorations for private homes. A year later, in 1998, the first d106 store opened - d106 interiors - with the design office operating integrated into the store. Brands such as Minotti, Poliform, Flos, Kartell, Magis, Iittala, Stelton, marked our opening. Following other brands such as Lema, Paola Lenti, Fontana Arte, Artemide and Luce Plan.

lighting store (2004)

In 2004, d106 opened its second store - d106 Iluminação - transferring the lighting department of d106 Interiores to the new store. The brands represented are Flos, Foscarini, Artemide and Luce Plan with permanent exhibition and Vibia, Belux, Moooi, Tom Dixon, Fontana Arte, Secto, Santa & Cole, LZF, among others.
